Don’t beg a soul to fw you
On my momma, I will never fawn or beg for anyone’s validation. And it’s just sad to see so many grown people be followers. Leadership will not only get you far, but it will gain you respect as well. Do not beg anyone to rock with you. And I say this as a form of self-respect. First of all, wanting the support of everyone lowers your value. Particularly when you find yourself begging for the support, it just screams “Desperate”. I want women to know that when someone’s mind is made up about you, then that is it. It’s only up to the person for them to want to change it. We can’t change minds and we can’t change hearts by pleading with desperation. We can only be ourselves and attract what is meant for us. For example, as a business owner, there are many people who have seen what I was doing and have decided to support me. Well, first off, I want to lay out the different types of people that you’ll encounter once you decide to step out there. And the results may actually come as a shock to you:
There are those people who see you & outwardly support you.
There are those people who see you & don’t care to support you.
There are the people who pretend not to see you (these are the weirdos and will, surprisingly, be people who you know).
There are those people who really don’t see you.
None of these four types of people owe you anything and that is an important thing to put at the forefront of your mind. And the only two that you want to hyper-focus on are numbers 1 & 4. Because chasing people down and wanting to be seen and supported is a waste of your energy. Just do the work! Put your energy where it counts. You will attract what is meant to be. And that is in life and in business.
